Supreme Court judge DK Jain, being the chief guest, inaugurated the conference. Another apex court judge P Sathasivam presided over the function, while justice TS Thakur, chief justice of Punjab and Haryana, was the guest of honour. The conference was attended by many judges from Punjab and Haryana High Court and Kerala and Gujarat High Court, apart from a large number of advocates and judicial officers from different parts of the country.
